It is always a very festive time at Loomis Basin Brewing’s Annual Oktoberfest! Our 8th annual celebration of this wonderful fall festival occurred on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 1-6 pm. This family and dog friendly event is an area favorite, with tons of games, competitions, and events for both adults and kiddos! There is an abundance of tents and beer stations to keep everyone’s cup overflowing with merriment. The always entertaining Island of Black and White joined us this year to keep the festivities lively! There were pints, cans, cider, and cocktails, as well as some great food vendors to pair food with. We hope you were able to join us as we celebrated our 8th Annual Oktoberfest! If not, we’ll see you in 2020.

Want to avoid the Eventbrite fees? Stop by the brewery starting September 16, 2019 during normal business hours (3277 Swetzer Rd, Loomis).
Food from the Gastropub will be served, as well as specialties from Ruffhaus Hot Dog Company, Joe’s American Classics, NorCal Kettle Corn, and Frozen in Time Shaved Ice. There’s something for everyone!
There will be local retail vendors onsite including Kingston Design Co, and Gypsy Moon Sign Co. If you didn’t get to stop by their booths, don’t forget holidays and birthdays are coming up so think of your hard-to-buy folks and get their shopping done and out of the way early.
This Oktoberfest was started at the brewery to celebrate with friends and loved ones. It has steadily grown over the years and to accommodate everyone who wanted to join in, we upgraded to the park. Every year, a few select Oktoberfest beer styles are brewed to include in the celebrations, and we also always include our crowd favorites, as well.
Cider and cocktails will also be served for guests who wish to celebrate without a beer.
Want to compete in some exciting events and competitions? We had several for both adults and kids so everyone can have a fun time. Events included a men’s and women’s Stein Holding Competition, and a Group Relay game that involved drinking. Costumes were encouraged for everyone, including the furry attendees.
We loved having the always entertaining Island of Black and White as they joined us for Oktoberfest 2019! We rocked out to both classic favorites and fun originals, and enjoyed Chris playing the accordion on his unicycle!!
